Please remember that the high C & D precorder fingering is different than the recorder.
Precorder: To play the high C - all fingers are off the front- just have your thumb on the back
To play high D - thumb and all fingers are off
Recorder You will notice they keep their middle finger on the second hole and don’t cover the first hole. for the recorder’s high C position and for the high D they do the same, but remove their thumb.
